Position Overview:

As Senior/Principal Product Manager, you will be focused on the development and optimization of scalable/distributed file systems designed for cloud infrastructures. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our product offerings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for scalable/distributed file systems, aligning with the company's overall objectives and market trends.

• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and assess customer requirements, gathering insights to inform product development and positioning.

• Roadmap Planning: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, industry best practices, and technological advancements, creating a roadmap that reflects the evolving needs of our target audience.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

• Product Development: Drive the end-to-end development process, from concept ideation and requirements gathering to product launch and iteration, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions on time and within budget.

• Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product features, leveraging customer insights to drive product improvements and enhance user satisfaction.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute go-to-market plans for new product releases and feature updates, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive awareness, generate demand, and achieve revenue targets.

• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives, tracking metrics such as adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth, and using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

• Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments related to cloud parallel file systems, serving as a subject matter expert and contributing to thought leadership initiatives such as blog posts, whitepapers, and conference presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• Proven experience (10+ years) in product management roles, with a track record of successfully launching and managing cloud-based software products or infrastructure solutions.

• Deep understanding of scalable/distributed/parallel file systems, distributed computing, and cloud storage technologies, with a focus on scalability, performance optimization, and data consistency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

• Strategic mindset with a customer-facing and revenue-centric approach, combined with a passion for innovation and driving business results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
