Position: Senior Solution Architect

Hours: Full Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
Job Duties:
Serve as the architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing and implementing large-scale connected planning solutions and exemplify "The Anaplan Way". Support the development of best practice standards by producing template toolkits for key use case functionalities. Provide technical leadership and accountability to the project team. Actively promote the PLANS modelling standard by providing oversight to project implementations. Support new product development through testing, documentation, and training materials. Be the "source" for answers and advice both externally (through the Community and User groups for both Customer and Partners) and internally within Customer Success and beyond. Responsible for the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions in strategic accounts. Responsible for the end-to-end project implementation deliverables. Lead Model Optimization Projects, analyze process, modeling, and usability problems, and provide recommendations. Mentor and train junior Model Builders and Solution Architects, and train the trainer on Anaplan Implementations. Utilize Business Intelligence Engineering skills to build data integrations, and train end users on the solution for adoption. Remote work is permissible.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and three (3) years of in the job offered or in a related position.

- Designing and developing solutions to complex problems, system administration issues, or network concerns
- Knowledge in Business Analytics/Statistics and experience working with Enterprise Planning Management solutions
- Gathering and documenting requirements for a variety of client performance management needs, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, reporting, and analysis, and translating client requirements into physical and logical designs
- Conducting system integration, data loading, and regression testing activities with various transaction and financial systems
- Performing requirement analysis, project scoping, and time and effort estimation, and preparing test data to validate constructed applications
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools including PowerBI, Tableau, and Advanced Excel
- Experience in ETL tasks using SQL, RDBMS, and MS SQL Server.
- Up to 25% domestic travel required.
