The position reports to Controller of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountant
- General Ledger and accruals : Post monthly journal entry accruals to the general ledger and ensure accuracy between workpapers and WTB
- Reconcile inventory to actual on a monthly basis, including allocating COGS associated with projects in process. Identify discrepancies between inventory costs by warehouse.
- Prepare and maintain intercompany schedule and validate balances between entities
- Review monthly transactions against Working Trial balances with Controller identifying and discussing variance between periods.
- Post monthly expenses from prepaid schedules including: insurance, expense, rent
- Assist with periodic audits including: fulfilling pre-audit support items timely.
- Ensure all adjusting journal entries are properly recorded.
- Assist with reconciling and managing deferred revenue accounts ensuring proper recognition in accordance with accounting standards (ASC 606 if applicable).
Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and business opportunities
- Analize financial performance against plan including revenue, expense and profitiablity metrics
- Analyze revenue, COGS & expenses, and margins at the Corporate level and at the detailed product or customer level. Hardware and SaaS analysis experience is desired.
- Maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Prepare reports for management to highlight key financial insights
- Provide support to monthly financial reporting including metrics & dashboards
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations; Bachelor's degree in Accouning or Finance preferred, CPA a plus
- 3 year minimum of general ledger experience in accounting
- 4-6 year+ experience with Quickbook, Netsuite or similar ERP system.
- Proficient with Microsoft office and excel. Demonstrate the ability to manage schedules, utilize pivot tables and perform data analysis efficiently.
- Ability to communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
