What You'll Do
- Handle full-cycle accounting for a principal within the firm, including AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation and audits
- Assist with financial planning and analysis for ongoing investments and operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate, investment, or private office settings
- Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, or similar)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive mindset
