Type of Employment: Contract

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of 3D Revit structural models and 2D drawings and details of structural building systems.
  • Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 3D models, 2D cross sections, section details, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a structural discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of structural drafting and design best practices, including interfaces with mechanical piping, HVAC and electrical.
  • Design activity will require knowledge of design principles and drafting procedures.
  • Work with coordinator to manage and issue models in Autodesk Construction Cloud tool while enforcing configuration management plan.
  • Support Plant Arrangement and Layout in 3D model (Navisworks, Revit). Proficient in Revit & Autodesk suite of tools.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience with the following:
  • Manage project work schedules and priorities.
  • Work proactively with Engineering teams to develop 3D Model in Autodesk Tool suite (Revit)
  • Work within a team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for mission success.
  • Perform work in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Competency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft products and Microsoft teams.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience drafting in heavy industrial, thermal power, or nuclear industry or similar structural industries
  • Minimum 3 years experience using Revit for structural and or architectural modeling.
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft office proficiency Advanced communication skills
  • Canadian and USA security clearance preferred but not required
