POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Engineer IV is responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of company products. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead the technical aspects of product development from conception to production. The Product Engineer IV is crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of our products while driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Lead the design and development of complex product features and components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input during product conceptualization and planning phases.
- Create detailed engineering specifications, including performance requirements, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize product designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform thorough analysis and testing of prototypes and product iterations to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during product development and manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance procedures.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to evaluate new technologies, materials, and components.
- Participate in product review meetings and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
