The Role: Senior Superintendent - Civil Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for complex underground utilities and civil infrastructure projects up to $50 million in value. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing site execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead field teams, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and implement best practices to drive operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role that offers the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding civil infrastructure projects in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of field operations for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop site personnel, fostering a strong safety culture and teamwork environment.
Schedule & Budget Oversight: Monitor project schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Subcontractor & Client Coordination: Act as the primary site contact, managing relationships with subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and implement innovative solutions to enhance project execution.

What You Bring:
15+ years of experience in civil infrastructure and underground utilities construction.
10+ years of leadership experience, managing field teams on large-scale projects.
Proven track record delivering civil infrastructure projects up to $50 million in value.
Strong expertise in earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, roadworks, and municipal infrastructure.
Ability to drive project schedules, manage costs, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with unionized and non-unionized work forces.
Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
