The Senior Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and leading a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Implement and maintain project safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and performance, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates and reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in budget management and cost control to meet financial objectives.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to project schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proven experience in multifamily and commercial construction projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety regulations.
- Strong budget and schedule management skills
