Senior Superintendent

JOB SUMMARY

As the jobsite leader, you work in partnership with the Project Executive or Senior Project Manager to ensure overall project success and have primary responsibility for the execution of the "Work." This role plans and orchestrates the project team by setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to achieve success. The Senior Superintendent lives our Core Values and leads by example in order to develop the Company's future leaders.

JOB SCOPE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary Accountabilities

• Execution of the "Work"
  • Leads the jobsite team by setting clear expectations
  • Develops Pankow team to their fullest potential
  • Ensures development and implementation of site-specific Safety and Quality programs and schedule protocols
  • Monitors and ensures subcontractor performance
  • Acts as the ultimate decision-maker for jobsite issues
  • Leads Monthly Project Review Meetings to identify areas of concern and suggested solutions
  • Manages company resources (cost management, people, equipment, etc.) to maintain project profit goals
  • Manages subcontractors and suppliers and approves all invoices
  • Represents the company, with assistance from the Director of Operations, with union labor and OSHA issues, disputes, and interpretations as they relate to the project

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Effective communication skills
• Sense of urgency and ownership
• Ability to lead a team
• Other knowledge, skills and abilities to be specified

Work Experience

• 10 years of jobsite management experience (with degree) or 15 years of jobsite management, including experience as Field Superintendent
