Your Impact

We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dedrone. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our hardware products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production introduction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and support across Project Management, Product Management, Production, Software, and RF Development.

You will:
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to production introduction, ensuring all designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement system-level designs for fixed-site, portable, and mobile solutions, focusing on camera based and radar based drone detection
  • Manage the validation and testing of new designs using industry-standard equipment and methodologies. Support and lead the certification and regulatory approval process for new products.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and manage the production documentation process meticulously.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical and Maschine learning engineers, software developers, Project Management, Product Management, Production and quality department to ensure cohesive and integrated product development.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.

You have:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on system-level integration.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical designs, electrical engineering and design for manufacturing .
  • Experience in designing and validating products for harsh environments.
  • Familiarity with camera technology
  • Familiarity with radar principals and limitations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity.
