Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect data, systems, and networks.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in network administration and security.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are preferred.
