Job Description
The Senior Systems Analyst is an integral part of the MIS team who supports the achievement of a specific area of the business's goals and objectives. This position is responsible for a specific area of Larson Manufacturing business; specifically for Information Systems supporting that area. This position is responsible for conducting defined Operations in the analysis and planning, design, development, installation and support business functions through the use of technology and process improvements. This will involve working with systems or system modules of a moderately complex nature.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Job Description
The Senior Systems Analyst is an integral part of the MIS team who supports the achievement of a specific area of the business's goals and objectives. This position is responsible for a specific area of Larson Manufacturing business; specifically for Information Systems supporting that area. This position is responsible for conducting defined Operations in the analysis and planning, design, development, installation and support business functions through the use of technology and process improvements. This will involve working with systems or system modules of a moderately complex nature.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes end users data needs and develops user oriented solutions, which interface with existing applications.
- Designs systems, programs and coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of user manuals.
- Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new programs/systems.
- Functions as a Business Analyst, having knowledge of the business area they support.
- Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas to develop and identify opportunities for improvements to meet business needs.
- Performs database design, program design, coding and other programming tasks from general directions.
- Specifies the required logical interface between related programs or processes. Defines and corrects operational difficulties encountered in executing programs.
- Communicates effectively at all levels.
- Designs, programs, tests, implements and documents program logic.
- Is subject to call 24 hours, 7 days a week, to cover software failure on production programs or new applications behind schedule.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Ability to design and code medium to high complex, integrated programs in at least 2 languages
- Ability to fully support a business area via solid knowledge of business processes and practices
- Ability to recognize incomplete or inadequate business specifications and through proper analysis complete and implement desired program solutions to business needs
- Leadership skills
- Sound understanding of integrated ERP/Supply Chain systems
- Project/change management experience: Create, schedule, and manage teams and multifaceted tasks to meet project timelines and goals
- Knowledge of PeopleCode, SQL, Visual Studio, Xcode, C++, C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, HTML5, Flutter, and/or QlikView are helpful but not required.
