Required Qualifications:
- Ten years professional engineering experience with U.S. Navy signature measurements, reduction, analysis, and experimentation.
- The professional experience is required to be in the areas hardware, networking, systems specifications, design and development, and integration and testing related submarine and surface ship signature measurements and systems.
- System integration experience.
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification.
Desired Qualifications:
- Six years of technical experience (within the past eight years) with acoustic recording and ship signature areas in at least six of these functional areas:
- Acoustic data gathering system and signature data acquisition and measurement system design, development, testing, evaluation and certification, supporting advanced development sonars, or ship signature RDT&E
- Shipboard or fixed-site signature measurement systems development, sustainment, operations, and upgrades
- Technical analysis experience in support of development and application of ship signature reduction or measurement technology
- Ship signature data acquisition, evaluation, analysis, and report preparation
- Ship signature data compilation and database development and implementation
- Acoustic recording or signature measurement system functional requirements, testing, validation, certification and system performance evaluation, including tradeoff analysis of alternate design approaches
- Signature system development, acquisition, and integration
- Signature system test planning, evaluation, analysis and documentation
- Acoustic recording system functional requirements, testing, validation and certification
- Acoustic Recording System Information Assurance (IA) evaluation, implementation, and maintenance
- Technical report and documentation preparation
- Project data evaluation and analysis
