Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics and Information Technology Support Services. We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of professionals in support of the DoD. The projected start date is February 2025.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Support the engineers in the preparation, update, maintenance, and submission of engineering plans such as the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), Systems Test & Evaluation Strategy (ST&ES), Performance Measurement Plan (PMP), Requirements Management Plan (RMP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), and Programmatic Environment, Safety & Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE). This support includes, but is not limited to, creating draft plans, routing, and coordinating review of draft plans with and among Government stakeholders, submission of final plans for approval, and maintenance and revision of approved plans.
  • Prepare briefings and materials in support of project level efforts, including Preliminary Design Review (PDR) events, Critical Design Review (CDR) events, Test Readiness Reviews, Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) events, COA development, and Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
  • Assist the program engineers in coordinating, executing, and participating in system engineering technical reviews and events (e.g., Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), Engineering IPTs and Engineering Review Boards (ERBs)), and provide comments on engineering issues.
  • Assist in the execution of SETRs and SETR activities. Review technical documentation in the Technical Review Data Package (TRDP), assist in Request for Action (RFA) and response collection, manage technical action items, function as the Technical Assessment Lead (TAL), develop meeting minutes, identify and document technical risks, and assist in the preparation of the SETR Summary Report.
  • Assist the program engineers in conducting requirements analysis, configuration item analysis, and impact analysis, and provide analysis reports, as required, to support the creation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for Functional Review Board (FRB), ERB, Configuration Control Board (CCB), and SETR processes.
  • Assist with capability requirement document reviews, program/team backlog refinement, and problem statement analysis to prepare system specifications or epics, features and user stories.
  • Assist in the preparation and update of interoperability certification, testing, and waivers request letters.
  • Perform requirements and traceability analyses and updates (e.g., Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), System Design Specification (SDS)), System Verification Documents (SVDs)), to include the decomposition of MCEN Services in order to define the technical capabilities of the services in order to understand the hardware and software utilized to meet these capabilities.
  • Assist the programs' engineer(s) or test lead(s) to prepare and update Test and Evaluation (T&E) artifacts (e.g., test plans/cases, test procedures, charts) and determine criteria for test success.
  • Work with program engineers to identify technical specifications/user stories and test criteria for either Waterfall or Agile methodologies to include development, documentation, management of configuration items, management of baseline updates (i.e., hardware, software, documentation), and update of requirements.
  • Document, consolidate, and manage baseline capabilities requirements for End User Devices (EUDs) as directed by the programs' engineer(s). This support shall include the development, modification and maintenance to functional and product baselines, market research in support of baseline development and the production of baseline documentation in support of PEO Digital - USMC. The Contractor shall track and review configuration items in accordance with the PEO Digital USMC Configuration Management process. The Contractor shall maintain system documentation and update configuration data within the configuration management system.
  • Assist with strategic planning efforts and provide insight and recommendations in critical technology and industry best practice areas specific to ongoing Marine Corps and PEO Digital - USMC initiatives at the IT professional level.
  • Assist with providing recommendations on how to deploy specific Government-specified IT related programs for Government information technology organizations.
  • Performs related work as assigned.


Work Environment:

This job operates in both teleworking and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and operate office equipment.

Position type and expected hours of work:

This is a full-time position. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the core hours being 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Travel:

Travel may be required within and outside of the local area to support the task requirements such as attendance at meetings, demonstrations, and working group meetings.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
  • Education:
    • Must have a minimum of an Associate's degree in business or related field.
      • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Must have a minimum of 6 years of related experience
      • 10 years of SME experience preferred
  • Clearance:
    • Must be US Citizen, must be able to pass a background investigation per local law and regulations, and must be authorized to work in the U.S., must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
    • Active DoD Security Clearance is preferred.
