- Quality Assurance and Testing of the COTS product phased delivered modules and interfaces.
- Testing for releases (Acceptance/integration/regression testing etc.).
- Working with the client teams to develop and lead testing strategy.
- Testing coroners' various systems and interfaces.
- Lead validation of quality.
- Test the functionality of the solution and its integration with other systems.
- Training material preparation and Training as applicable, on new features and enhancements.
- Communication with stakeholders and vendor.
- Leading Quality Assurance and Testing experience at the specified level in large IT organizations, preferably within an Government environment.
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite including, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Government IT Enterprise Architecture Standards and artifacts.
- Working knowledge of Power Designer, RS-CMS would be an asset.
- 7 + years' experience in Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Demonstrated experience in team coordination and leadership.
- Experience of QA processes, agile delivery & testing processes, testing methodologies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of process enhancement and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience of developing Test Case, Test Scenarios, functional testing and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience (within the last 5 years): CMS, NET technologies, MS Windows, MS SQL Server, Java / Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience developing Test Documentation and use cases.
- Familiarity with software design principles and architecture review process and artifacts (Conceptual/Logical etc.).
- Demonstrated experience creating, reviewing, providing input and supporting Enterprise architecture artifacts for checkpoints.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading JAD and QA sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience with QA skills on application development and COTS implementation projects in the Government with minimum basic security clearance.
- Experience in investigative software solutions for case management (Death investigation etc.)
