Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated tax professional to join our Atlanta team in the role of Senior Tax Specialist focused on global tax compliance. As the senior tax specialist, you will manage the outsourcing of the domestic compliance for Cox's international companies. You will also build and maintain relationships with Controllers in our international businesses and assist them with their tax needs. This job involves collaboration with various teams within the department and requires strong analytical, technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage outsourcing of domestic compliance process for international companies and collaborate with Federal Tax team
  • Prepare certain U.S. international forms including statements & elections
  • Maintain relationships with International Controllers and assist with quarterly tax packages for financial reporting and other tax needs
  • Document global tax attributes and coordinate GILTI & FDII modeling
  • Monitor global compliance, including local tax return coordination and maintenance of worldwide filings
  • Provide international cash taxes for the Company's budget process
  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany activity, including BEPS Country-by-Country Reporting and other GloBE reporting requirements
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation and entity rationalization projects
  • Facilitate employee travel processes and support our Global Mobility team with employee international travel requests
  • Act as primary technology liaison for international compliance suite


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Strong analytical, technical, written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to lead, manage and prioritize multiple assignments and projects; resolve complex tax issues, and consistently deliver a thorough and accurate work product with great attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of products and tax software


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of OneSource tax return preparation software a plus
  • CPA/Master's degree and Big 4 experience preferred
