Senior Technical Lead Consultant

Job Description

Provide Oracle HCM development services or technical support for QC Consulting Group's customers. Develop new solutions or analyzes and modifies logic in existing solutions. Implement modifications to existing systems, while maintaining (and developing) technical expertise and personal understanding of emerging technologies. Duties:

Technical development for QC's HCM projects:

• • Review functional specifications for technical objects such as Fast Formulas, BI Publisher Reports, Vendor Interfaces, Custom Analytics and Dashboards.
  • Conduct fit/gap analysis and create proof of concept as needed. Create a key decision document to identify options or workarounds when there are gaps.
  • Create the technical design document outlining the solution.
  • Develop technical objects utilizing the appropriate technology such as Java, Shell Scripts, Groovy, PL/SQL, SOAP and REST/Atom feeds.
  • Troubleshoot issues with technical objects and provide solution as needed.
  • Conduct code review for objects created by the team.
  • Create end user guides and participate in testing events.

Emerging technologies:

• Review Oracle roadmap for new technologies such as AI, Chat Bot and Blockchain.
• Build prototypes utilizing new technologies for customer use cases.
• Review and update existing solution library to take advantage of emerging technologies
• Create internal documentation for training.
• Conduct internal training sessions.

QC product development:

• Look for opportunities to productize existing solutions.
• Lead QC product development activities.
  • • Build new analytics and reports.
    • Build new integrations with vendors.
    • Bursting BI reports to add to existing notifications.

• Create product design document.
• Guide team through the development lifecycle.
• Unit test new products/enhancements.
• Create and update product documentation.

Hybrid office/home work schedule.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in Oracle HCM with verticals like Retail, Financial services, Government/Public Sector. Job code SP22. This position is eligible for employee referral bonus.
