As a Senior Technical Project Manager in our dynamic Personal Risk Services (PRS) team, you will play a pivotal role in leading software development initiatives that transform the systems and technologies leveraged across our personal lines business. You'll drive the successful delivery of both greenfield initiatives and enhancements that modernize our technical ecosystem from conception through to deployment. Leveraging your agile expertise, we'll look to you to cultivate an environment where technical, engineering, and business teams work cohesively to achieve project goals. In conjunction, this role will also enable you to utilize your deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle to influence change, emphasize iterative development and continuous feedback, and ensure that the projects you're leading and delivering not only meet immediate business needs but are also strategically positioned for long-term success and scalability. Your leadership will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of software development, ensuring that we not only advance our organizational capabilities but also provide significant value to the clients we serve and harness the full potential of our technology investments.

Qualifications
The pay range for the role is $140,000 to $160,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.

In this role, you will:
- Manage multiple concurrent software development projects, with a primary focus on leading greenfield projects and optimizing existing business applications for enhanced functionality and performance
- Develop, implement, and oversee project roadmaps that align with key business objectives, ensuring clear visibility of milestones, deliverables, and timelines
- Foster a collaborative team environment by serving as a facilitator, encouraging communication and interaction among developers, designers, and business units to address challenges and celebrate successes
- Create and manage comprehensive communication strategies, documentation, and reporting mechanisms that establish transparency for stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, scopes, timelines, and risk assessments to maintain alignment with business goals while proactively addressing potential issues
- Collaborate closely with product owners to define and communicate project value, translating business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring that all teams are aligned toward delivering high-quality results
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes, soliciting feedback, and implementing lessons learned to optimize future software development initiatives
Qualifications
- 10 years of software development project management experience required; experience in the insurance industry, specifically Personal Lines, is a significant advantage
- Strong technical background with managing application development projects from concept to completion
- Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with peers and management
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management, problem solving, decision making, and leading by influence
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Clarity, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Industry certifications including PMI, Agile, and SCRUM are a plus
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree required
