We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the AWS to Azure Cloud Migration of 40+ Pharmacy Domain applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, cloud migration strategies, project management best practices, and endpoint cutover planning. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills to collaborate with senior IT and business leaders. The candidate must ensure seamless cloud migration while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
10+ years of experience in technical project management with a focus on cloud migration.
Proven experience in leading AWS to Azure migrations, preferably in the healthcare/pharmacy domain.
Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC) and Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Virtual Networks).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
Expertise in security and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, etc.).
Strong knowledge of cutover planning, including endpoint migration, downtime minimization, and rollback strategies.
Hands-on experience with project cost estimation and cloud cost optimization strategies.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, engineers, and DevOps teams.
Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging with senior business and IT stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end migration of 40+ Pharmacy Domain applications from AWS to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption.
Define and implement cloud migration strategies, including re-hosting, refactoring, and re-platforming.
Develop and execute cutover plans, ensuring seamless transition without impacting critical pharmacy operations.
Oversee project timelines, cost budgeting, resource planning, and risk management for successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with healthcare and pharmacy industry regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.) during migration.
Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps teams, and security teams to optimize the new Azure environment.
Implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) plans for the migrated applications.
Lead stakeholder communication, including executive leadership, business users, and technical teams.
Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, and PMP best practices to track and drive progress.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Collaborate with Project stakeholders and Drive the team to complete the deliverables
Proven success migrating 50+ applications in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
Expertise in project recovery for at-risk migrations (scope, timeline, or budget overruns).
Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 a year
