As the Senior Technical Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and integrity of technical platforms and environments within the organization and will provide predictive and proactive technical analysis to ensure optimal performance. You will support other teams with design and research expertise, project consulting and incident response using corporate Information Technology (IT) service delivery management tools and processes.

Technologies you have experience with:

  • You have experience with Azure, AWS or similar technology
  • You have knowledge of servers and infrastructure technologies
  • Having experience with Puppet, DynaTrace is an asset


How you will create impact:

  • Collaborating with business partners to identify technology performance and service impacts, configuring changes to support ongoing quality of service and providing risk assessment and analysis to determine how new or modified technology will integrate and impact various environments.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware and software problems using corporate IT service delivery management tools and processes.
  • Prioritizing and analyzing patterns based on incoming requests to enhance service.
  • Planning and managing large and complex implementations and projects including the development of detailed work tasks.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership and consultation to internal stakeholders and external partners as the key representative of a particular technology domain or project.

To join our team:

  • You have five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Having experience with application configuration management, server support, vendor upgrades, production issue troubleshooting is an asset
  • Having knowledge of Azure compute services and devops is an asset
  • Having knowledge of Agile practices, continuous improvement or ITIL is an asset.


What you need to know:

  • You will travel occasionally.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
