Responsibilities As a Senior Technical Writer you will have the opportunity to do the following: * Plan, develop and execute acquisition related policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Ship Design Team
* Develop and document internal/external business processes and contract requirements at all stages of a program's life cycle.
* Deliver high quality documentation summarizing complex technical concepts in an easily understandable format.
* Develop high-level reports and presentations for briefing Program Managers and senior leadership on all elements of acquisition program performance with quantitative analysis and recommendations. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree
* Ability to obtain a secret clearance
* At least 5+ years of experience in writing and reviewing technical engineering documents. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $74,800.00/Yr. - USD $124,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
