We are currently looking for a Senior Trainer, Originationsto join our team.

As a member of the Learning & Development Team, the Senior Trainer role has a direct impact on the training, growth, and development of employees by developing, planning, and facilitating operational, job, and technical training for the assigned business unit(s) and/or the broader organization.

This role is responsible for partnering closely with business leaders to determine learning requirements, coordinate content development, and facilitate training delivery with the goal to create an engaging experience while increasing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the training participant. This position will also have responsibilities for facilitating needs assessments, the design of learning content, and the assessment of training curricula to meet operational needs. Learning content may include product, process, or systems-related training. The position will also support overall training initiatives for the organization.

Success in this role requires close partnership with business leaders, a depth of understanding of the target roles ,and continuing education regarding the process, products, and platforms utilized to perform the job/ responsibilities to be trained.

Keys to success in this position are the ability to build relationships with business leaders, effectively manage stakeholder requests, lead with a collaborative approach, and utilize progressive facilitation techniques to deliver training that engages and excites participants.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of progressive experience in training, learning & development, or related role
    (or an equivalent combination of a high-school degree and progressive work experience)
  • 5+ years of facilitation experience; background in financial services/ mortgage lending highly preferred
  • Demonstrated background in instructional design; proven ability to develop operational training using adult and active learning principles
  • Experience performing needs assessments, drafting documentation, creating training proposals
  • Demonstrated experience developing others coupled with well-developed coaching capabilities
  • Solid project management capabilities with demonstrated experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in the design and facilitation of training
  • Previous experience in Financial Services preferred
  • Strong knowledge and skills with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and present to all levels of individuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization to influence and/or drive required results
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with a history of successful project planning and execution of plans
  • Collaborative and consultative work style; demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; ability to analyze and interpret performance data to identify opportunities and propose well-developed solutions
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to prioritize, organize time and resources to consistently bring projects to successful completion

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position is between $80,000.00-$100,000.00 annually
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
