Senior Training Specialist

We have immediate openings for Senior Training Specialist with a concentration in Small Boats to join our team. This position is in Washington, DC. Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

• The Contractor shall provide training/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.
• The Contractor shall provide marine engineering and in-depth engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft, and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and FMS assets.

Experience Requirements:

• 10 years Curriculum development, Government technical management, or Industry business management
• Navy Policies and Procedures (DoD 5000 process): experience communicating with Senior government and Industry personnel.
• DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; ship building experience desired.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 15 years of relevant experience.
• Master's Degree in Engineering. Preferred
• Professional Engineer License Preferred.
