JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Treasury Financial Analyst assists the VP Treasury Manager and Treasury team with all aspects of the department by performing the duties listed below.

PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
COMPUTER:
Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers; fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Python, Google Suite, and other banking applications needed to perform the functions of the position.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferably in Finance or equivalent experience. Master degree preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Professional certification, such as CFA, BTRM or FRM is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in treasury and/or related fields.

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Treasury Financial Analyst assists the VP Treasury Manager and Treasury team with all aspects of the department by performing the duties listed below.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide analysis and recommendations regarding the management of the branch's balance sheet to maximize revenue while keeping risks within policy limits.
- Monitor cash balances and transactions for current day activity.
- Analyze market for indications of pricing for daily rates.
- Publish rate schedules and cost of funding for the branch.
- Perform trend analysis, including the identification and communication to management of financial risks, opportunities, and/or areas for improvement.
- Proactively analyzing new investment opportunities and developing strategies to maximize profits and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and process Investment purchases and sales
- Coordinate and process Commercial Paper and YCD transactions
- Coordinate and process Term Deposit transactions
- Calculate breakage costs on transactions
- Provide financial tools, advice, and analysis to managers.
- Ensure alignment of key company strategies with financial budgets and forecasts
- Coordinate the creation of new products.
- Develop financial models that provide long-term planning insight.
- Assess the financial impacts of policy and operational issues.
- Proactively work to further automate the monthly variance analysis, trending analysis, and forecasting to drive process improvements and increase financial accuracy.
- Respond to special requests for financial data ensuring accurate and timely input for key decision makers.
- Ongoing evaluation to streamline processes and improve effectiveness.
- Confer with clients and counterparties by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services.
- Compile required documentation for account opening process.
- Update profiles and open accounts using BSA Radar when necessary.
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
- Maintain and develop new institutional relationships.

- Must have regular and predictable attendance and work the hours and/or shifts assigned, particularly during regular business hours, to communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and customers with whom interaction is required to accomplish and complete work assignments and meet company goals within established deadlines.

- Must provide timely and appropriate responses to requests for information and/or customer complaints or concerns and provide appropriate follow-up to ensure issues are resolved.

- Effectively speaking before groups of customers or employees
- Assume evolving duties and responsibilities of position.
- Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed)
- Travel as required
- Provide coverage for other positions as requested.
- Ability to carry and lift boxes and/or other objects that may weigh between 10 and 25 pounds.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Position requires accuracy. Individuals must be comfortable with detail and must be able to work under the pressure of deadlines. Apart from being able to proactively seek solutions to complex problems, the person must be able to quickly learn, comprehend and communicate these concepts. Individuals must also be able to multitask and work independently as well as in a team environment.
