Overview

The Senior Vice President, Brand Experience (SVP) is responsible for generating strategic media initiatives and leading all aspects of media planning for key client account. The SVP fosters and builds key relationships with clients across all levels and functions. They manage, lead, and develop their internal brand experience (media planning) team and can take active hands-on role in the deployment of strategic plans when necessary. The SVP is fiscally accountable for ensuring proper budget management and identifying revenue potential for the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategy to define the future direction of client business.
  • Actively listen to clients and continually identify opportunities to lead thinking. Team leader for client interaction fostering positive relationships.
  • Identifies key target insights based on client brief necessary for formulating communication strategy.
  • Evaluates composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience.
  • Ensure the quality of work for all client deliverables.
  • Serves as key resource for local markets in defining media strategy and media plans.
  • Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility, and efficiency resulting in solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Serves as leadership and content development coordinator for all client presentations.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence/analytics, data and investment teams to identify consumer learning needs and drive consumer insight generation, analysis/interpretation.
  • Ability to cross sell interagency products and services.
  • May participate in new business pitches as required.


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of digital media experience with progressive levels of responsibility and business acumen in marketing and communications, team management and P&L management.
  • Excellent client management experience working with senior level leaders internally and externally
  • Online and Offline media experience, including TV, Display, Search, Social, and Mobile.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish high levels of trust and credibility internally and externally, able to influence others to action.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills - effectively presents formal POVs internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership skills and general management orientation. Critical assessor of talent - builds and motivates high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skill and strong problem-solving skills - navigates effectively through difficult issues, builds required consensus to drive business needs and results.
  • High results-orientation, able to effectively juggle and prioritize many competing demands - high tolerance to effectively manage change.
  • Team oriented - approachable and viewed as coach and mentor to others

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $251,100 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
