The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio as well as pursuing new business. How you will be Successful
- Provideoutstanding customer service to the assigned book of business
- Developand enhance advisory relationships with your client contacts.
- Act asprimary client relationship manager in coordination with the account serviceteam
- Meet withclients in person independently or with senior management
- Own and beresponsible for exceeding PLATFORM's client service expectations
- Own and beresponsible for retaining your assigned accounts
- Ensureclient service levels and stewardship reports (where appropriate) are completedwithin the agreed time frame
- Manage,attend and follow up on deliverables from client meetings
- Ensureday-to-day service requests (Certificates, Changes) are being met in a timelymanner. This should be done in coordination with the account service team.
- Atrenewal, ensure all relevant markets are approached in a timely manner (90-120days prior).
- Co-ordinateall renewal options and present to the client 30 days in advance of renewal.
- Attempt tomake every effective date the first of the month (extend coverage atinception
- Ensurepremium finance terms have been furnished with every quote.
- Ensure apayment schedule and understanding has been secured from the client
- Ensure allaccounts are paid and current within 60 days of inception of coverage.
- Independentlygrow the book of business year over year via cross selling and the procurementof new accounts.
- Championthe brokering process with the help of the account service team on new businessopportunities.
- Completeproposals and presentations to help attract new clients
- Penetrateexisting book with additional lines of coverage (Cyber, D&O, Pollution,E&O, Excess Liability etc).
- Be presentand available whenever possible in the office for colleagues questions andissues as needed.
- Know,understand, and find ways to apply the PLATFORM Core Values to your everydayjob.
- Be amentor to those that need it, and a helpful, positive addition to your team andPLATFORM,
- Keep anopen mind and be willing to learn new things and share what you know withothers
- Be anambassador for PLATFORM by promoting the firm both internally and externally
- Participateand contribute to PLATFORM meetings, committees and events.
How you will Impact PLATFORM
- 8+ years of Construction or Real Estate Insurance experience
- Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
- AMF License required
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
