Reporting the COO, the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations will be a key executive leader responsible for maximizing synergies from new acquisitions and enhancing profitability across the organization. The SVP will lead commercial integration synergy efforts for acquired companies, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic vision while maintaining a focus on local market excellence.
This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven ability to manage complex integration processes, optimize operational performance, and deliver measurable financial outcomes in the HVAC sector.

Physical Demands
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other plumbing equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those of medium work.
Work Environment
This job operates primarily alone and travels to different work sites each day. May work in tight spaces, typically indoors, but may work outside in poor weather conditions. Vehicles are used as the base of operations.

Responsibilities:
- Integration and Synergy Management:
- Identify and execute synergy opportunities across acquisitions, including commercial strategies, operational efficiencies, procurement savings, and resource sharing.
- Involved in due diligence activities related to potential acquisitions.
- Develop, execute and implement strategic operations, sales, and business development plans to achieve local growth and profitability targets.
- Ensure a focus on pricing discipline, operational efficiencies, and margin improvement across the organization.
- Monitor financial performance and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Drive initiatives to enhance local operational performance, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.
- Implement standardized processes and best practices while accommodating local market dynamics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure sustained excellence.
- Partner with finance teams to align budgets, forecasts, and P&L objectives.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and IT, to achieve organizational objectives.
- Maintain a strong focus on team member engagement, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with a strong background in driving commercial growth in the HVAC industry.
- Proven success in achieving synergies in an M&A environment/branch-based field organization.
- Expertise in driving commercial excellence and improving local market performance.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in developing and implementing scalable processes and systems.
- Willingness to travel regularly supporting new acquisitions.
