Job Description

Job Scope:

The primary responsibility of this high-visibility position is to provide white-glove customer service and support to OpenExchange customers. Customers include C-suite executives, Wall Street investment banks, and investment managers from around the world. Meetings can be point-to-point / multi-points or Livestream with up to 20 different endpoints, using various video technologies. This Role encompasses the skillset of a conferencing Bridge Specialist as well as the technical expertise of a Live Streamer.

Responsibilities:

Bridge Specialist

• Manage all video conference coordination from pre-testing client sites to providing real-time meeting assistance.
• Act as a Video Bridge Specialist, attend and moderate client meetings.
• Work closely with relationship managers to ensure virtual meetings are executed smoothly.
• Communicate with OpenExchange (OE) management and service team on customer issues and concerns.
• Other duties as assigned according to business line and regional attributes.

Live Streamer

• Work closely with project managers and bridge specialists to understand video needs and project goals.
• Communicate event details to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
• Conduct pre-stream checks of all equipment and connections to prevent technical glitches.
• Monitor live streams for audio/video quality issues and take corrective actions immediately.
• The ability to manage multiple live streams simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Select appropriate video encoding settings based on platform requirements and network bandwidth limitations.
• Oversee all aspects of live stream productions, including pre-production planning, technical rehearsals,
• advanced expertise in managing and delivering high-quality video content, particularly live streams, across various platforms
• overseeing technical setups, production workflows
• ensuring smooth delivery of live events with a focus on quality control and troubleshooting technical issues

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred).

Years of Experience:

• 5+ years in Video Bridge Operations, technical operations, or professional services role.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams, and/or other video conferencing platforms.
• Experience with MS Office 0365
• Familiarity with conference control software such as:
  • Cisco MCU Codian Console
  • Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS)
  • Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
  • VQ Conferencing Manager
• Technical knowledge of video conference systems such as Cisco/Tandberg, Polycom, LifeSize, Lync (Business Skype).
• Knowledge of Bridging, MCU as well as SIP and H.323 video conferencing protocols and other audio and video technologies used to support conference operations.
• Proficient in live streaming protocols like RTMP, HLS, and WebRTC.
• Thorough understanding of video production equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, encoders, and switcher systems.
• knowledge of live streaming technologies, video codecs, and streaming protocols.
