Whitley Penn, a leading CPA and Consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Advisor to join our team WPWealth team! In this position, you will be responsible for developing financial plans using knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans and estate planning for current and prospective HNW clients. The Senior Associate will serve as support to Managers and Senior Managers in addition to managing and building their own book of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively delivering professional advice and building collaborative long-term client relationships. Series 65 is required for this position.

How Will You Make an Impact?
- Deliver personalized wealth management advice to help clients achieve their financial goals
- Develop a book of business by effectively sourcing prospective clients, capitalize on referrals, develop an advanced understanding of client financial needs, and deliver the full resources of Whitley Penn through collaboration to provide an optimal experience and results for the client
- Recommend investment products and services that are suitable for prospects and clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences
- Balance investment management, sales activities, customer service, new client development, administrative tasks and maintain compliance
- Enhance skill set through continuous personal development and training, day-to-day and as it relates to your long-term plan
- Show initiative to develop necessary skills to move into a manager role
How Will You Get Here?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree in a relatable field preferred
- Series 65 required
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional designation is required within the first 12 months
- CPA License/experience in public accounting preferred
- 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance culminating into a strategic financial leadership role preferably in an RIA model business organization
- Ability to grasp technology, and strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrate strong presentation, analytical, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Must be highly driven, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy skills, inclusive of the ability to interact and work well across all levels of the firm
- Must excel in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment and take on new responsibilities as necessary and operate within the highest of ethical standards
