Description:

Responsibilities:

Produce enterprise-level designs and implement for Microsoft Windows for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with Microsoft, project and support teams Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.

Take technical ownership of the complex, multi-domain Microsoft Windows environment Lead a Windows 10 architecture project from beginning to end.

  • Design, develop, and debug multiple system sub-components from requirements definition through release to customers
  • Determine project scope at a team level and lead teams to deliver quality code through design, coding, and testing phase within specified timelines, reporting progress as required and escalating scheduling issues to management.
  • Provide consulting in areas of technical expertise Advise customer about or perform maintenance of software system Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, or resolve customer problems Mentoring other engineers as needed
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration and appropriate troubleshooting steps Improve existing processes through solutions torecurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
  • Take technical ownership of the complex, multi-domain Microsoft Windows environment Lead a Windows 10 project from beginning to end.
  • Proactively monitor the health and performance of systems and implementing changes as needed
  • Routinely conduct audits to ensure compliance and handling reports for upper management
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Windows 10 environment as it relates to Windows 10 as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting.
  • Provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems
  • Serve as the first line of escalation support for Windows 10 issues that cannot be resolved by tier one and two support
  • Serve as point of contact for business units to troubleshoot and resolve issues


Basic Qualifications:

8 + years of IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment Significant experience designing, configuring, and migrating Windows 10

5 + years of experience in software engineering

Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience leading large enterprise Windows acquisition and integration projects

Experience interacting with vendors and remote organization

Experience working with Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, SCCM, Intune including auto pilot, task sequence, configuration management, operating system deployment(design), imaging, design Win 10 environment from end to end.

Expert knowledge of Windows 6-10, SCCM, AD, Intune, writing complex PowerShell scripts

Expert knowledge of Active Directory integrations

Expert level knowledge of Windows 10 Design, Implementation and Support.
