Job Description
- Serves as a single point of contact for customers, also for the various functional areas
- Develops and maintains long-term relationship with customer and other suppliers associated with the project
- Leads the planning of project strategies including contracting, risk management, project controls, and project execution
- Establishes a realistic project schedule and ensures compliance with the defined project objectives and project management processes
- Ensures that the project communication between the Project Team and the customer
- Develops and communicates the project budget and staffing plans and organization. Conducts periodic financial reviews
- Manages and negotiates Variation Orders (VO) and other changes to the contract within his/her scope of work
- Develops and manages Commercial Performance Plan
- Provides specialized know-how, produces complex integrated solutions to strategic issues and presents recommendations to customers.
You are meant for this job if:
- BA/BS Degree in related field or applicable discipline required, or equivalent relevant experience with Condition and Performance Monitoring preferred.
- Typically 15+ years overall experience.Expert in project management with demonstrated application of Project Management techniques and standards.
- Expert knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing processes.
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions and the risks/opportunities of each as applicable to contract management and business execution.
- Advanced understanding of methods of cost control, risk management, project scheduling, and contract management
- Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policy and procedures
- Solutions are derived from knowledge gained through past external experiences and internal resources.
- Must have experience working on project teams and assist in meeting critical timelines with the goal to streamline and provide customer service.
- Demonstrated abilities in Leadership and Team Building with the ability to motivate a diverse group of people to successfully complete team objectives.
- Must have strong customer relations skills and interact with varying levels of management.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, internal and external negotiation, and planning skills.
- Must have advanced understanding of maintenance philosophies; thorough understanding of offshore logistics; in depth knowledge of subsea products; and in depth knowledge of business management planning tools. Proficient in relevant MS Office applications. Proficient in scheduling and ERP software.
