Job Summary:
The Client is seeking qualified ServiceNow professionals to provide development, implementation, and integration services for the ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) Applications Enterprise Package. The goal is to optimize HR service workflows to ensure seamless experiences for both active employees and retirees, enhance accessibility, and support citywide HR operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Task 1: Workflow Design & Development
Gather business requirements and analyze current workflows.
Design optimized workflows that meet legal, regulatory, and integration needs.
Implement workflows in ServiceNow HRSD, ensuring integration with Employee Document Management, Lifecycle Events, etc.
Automate processes and apply ServiceNow scripting for customization.
Task 2: Workflow Testing
Conduct unit and system testing.
Collaborate with the City's project team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Address and resolve testing-related issues.
Task 3: Workflow Documentation & Implementation
Prepare detailed documentation for business processes and technical implementations.
Ensure documentation supports future maintenance and updates.
Task 4: Knowledge Transfer & Training
Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan.
Conduct training, Q&A sessions, and provide documentation to internal teams.
Task 5: Post-Deployment Support
Provide support for bug fixes and minor adjustments post-deployment.
Offer ongoing consultation as needed.
Must-Have / Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years (within the last 5 years) performing services similar to those described in this solicitation (see MQ1).
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification (see MQ2).
Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow HRSD workflows.
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts).
Proven ability to conduct workflow testing and support UAT.
Strong documentation and training experience.
Nice-to-Have / Desired Experience:
Experience with integration of ServiceNow with PeopleSoft or other third-party HR systems.
Background working in public sector or government environments.
Knowledge of San Francisco City regulations and administrative requirements.
Experience with Employee Document Management, Lifecycle Events, and Case/Knowledge Management within ServiceNow.
Important Notes:
The contractor must comply with all local laws, cybersecurity assessments, and city-specific communication protocols.
All training materials, documentation, and knowledge transfer artifacts must be submitted to the City.
Proposals must include hourly rates and a total not-to-exceed figure for each task.
The project is subject to LBE program requirements and potential rating bonuses.
Minimum Qualification:
MQ1 Evidence that Proposer has at least three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in the performance of services requested by this Solicitation.
MQ2 Certification: Proof of Proposer's ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certificate.
