SFCC Developer

America's Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons, a division of Luxury Brand Holdings, is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Web Developer. Operating multiple transactional ecommerce sites, Luxury Brand Holdings is a leading national direct-to-consumer retailer of fine jewelry. You would be working daily with a mix of Business Partners on the Salesforce platform, building out solutions and integrations for the Ecommerce and Merchandising teams. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform capabilities to ensure secure, stable, and efficient operation of highly trafficked transactional website.
• Partner with E-Commerce functional leads to design and implement all code changes to ensure high quality customer experiences and best-in-class functionality.
• Build customized solutions in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and associated back-end systems that support business requirements and processes.
• Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently and independently.
• Recommend enhancements and modifications to existing platform deployment to ensure scalability of the site for internal and external users. Demonstrated passion for excellence and drive to find new solutions to business requirements.
• Keep abreast of market developments in the SFCC platform and its network of affiliated partners.
• Demonstrable experience with server and client-side JavaScript.
• Experience working in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to final delivery and support.

Experience and Required Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Strong JavaScript experience is a must
• DWScript/DS
• JavaScript controllers
• Legacy pipelines
• Service and Integration Framework
• Business Manager and Merchandising experience
• SFCC B2C Digital Developer or Technical Solution Designer certifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent number of years of experience
• E-commerce Architecture and Design

Development Technologies:

• SASS/SCSS
• Gulp/Babel build and compilation tools
• Server-side and client-side JavaScript
• Responsive web design
• WebDAV
• Strong JQuery knowledge
• React/Vue/Redux and other modern front-end frameworks
• Knowledge of order management, ERP and other backoffice systems
• Experience with SFCC APIs

Nice-to-haves but not required:

• Integration/EAI technologies (e.g. MuleSoft, Pervasive, Informatica, Jitterbit, ESB, etc.)
• Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc.
• Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures).
• Experience using Salesforce data tools (e.g., Data Loader, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE).
