Position Summary:
The Business Manager is leadership role in our Southwest General Medical Group (SGMG). SGMG is a multi-specialty group practice providing care to residents in the greater Cleveland area in more than 15 specialties. We are proud to offer the communities we serve skilled, board-certified physicians with years of experience in caring for patients. Our physicians and other clinical professionals are committed to providing patients with individual attention and compassionate, high-quality medical care. We work closely with patients to ensure optimum health and wellness by focusing on prevention and early detection of disease as well as management of injuries, illnesses and chronic conditions.
The Business Manager for SGMG will oversee operations within practices for the group. They will provide leadership and works with colleagues by providing supervision and direction around practice operations as well as instilling the mission, vision, and values of the areas they lead. Ensures patient access, financial performance, efficient operations, effective growth, colleague development, and optimal patient experience takes place.
The Business Manager supports the appropriate growth of services within service line(s) such as supporting the development of business and operational plans, acquisitions, and rationalizing the organization's geographic footprint. Develops the leadership competencies of direct reports with supervisory responsibilities. Plays a significant role on the team to implement changes to meet organizational, operational, and patient-centered goals.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required; Healthcare Administration, MBA, MHA , MPH, MSN, or Masters Degree in related field.
Required length and type of experience:
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience. Experience in healthcare and supervisory experience directing other's work. Experience in a physician office practice setting highly preferred.
