Position Summary:
The SharePoint Solutions Developer performs web development activities as a part of the Solutions Team. The SharePoint Solutions Developer is responsible for all aspects of delivering and maintaining solutions. Responsibilities include designing, creation, integration, documentation, testing, and maintenance of future and existing software solutions. The SharePoint Solutions Developer is expected to provide subject matter expertise for cloud platforms that seamlessly integrate hardware, software, and users while providing advanced technical support for desktop, server, and networking issues.

The SharePoint Solutions Developer performs web development activities as a part of the Solutions Team. The SharePoint Solutions Developer is expected to provide subject matter expertise for cloud platforms that seamlessly integrate hardware, software, and users while providing advanced technical support for desktop, server, and networking issues.
Essential Functions:
- Provide recommendations and guidance to the Government Customer on how to achieve requirements using current best practices
- Support SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint Online platforms, sites, pages, and custom solutions
- Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint site collections and solutions with particular emphasis given to meet the customer's needs and expectations.
- Create and customize Microsoft SharePoint sites and solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint Designer Workflows, Nintex Workflows, as well as the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Infopath, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and RESTful API to automate business processes while adhering to prevailing laws (e.g., Section 508), DoD guidelines, usability considerations and industry best practices.

- Work as a member of the Solutions Team that has responsibility for designing, building, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint on NIPR and SIPR environments for an Army Command Headquarters and its Major Subordinate Commands.
- Prioritize efforts by balancing assigned troubleshooting tickets, requests, and projects
- Report to Leadership on project statuses, progress, and impacts.
- Correspond, collaborate, and communicate on development and technical issues.
- Work with and influence external organizations to achieve needs or technical resolution
- Perform requirements gathering, technical design creation, time-line estimation, test planning, testing, customer demonstrations, and peer reviews.
- Create and disseminate documentation for solution requirements, solution design, test planning, test evaluation results, and user guides.
- Create and customize site pages and solutions with efficient and easy to navigate user interfaces, colors, and themes that support customer requirements.
- Create high quality, performant, well structured, commented, and documented code that meets system requirements and is compliant with Government standards, regulations, and SOPs.
- Support Infrastructure Team with recommendations, web front end analysis, testing assistance, PowerShell scripting assistance, monitoring, and server maintenance activities.
- Support the SharePoint Architecture Team efforts and planning through critical thinking and advisement on using SharePoint and related technologies in addition to the potential effects of architectural changes to customized solutions.

- Minimum two years of experience in web design and development, information security, and information technology support required
- Proven track record of success in delivery of custom web or software applications
- Organization and multi-tasking skills that strike a balance among validation/verification, requirements analysis, customer interaction and project oversight
- Preferred SharePoint Administrative experience
- Experience in coding in a Microsoft SharePoint environment a plus
- Experience working with Government/Department of Defense organizations
