ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton E-commerce is seeking a Shopify Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will create collaborative relationships cross functionally with E-commerce, supply chain, marketing and among the Apparel team. They will serve as the subject matter expert for the Apparel Shopify site and be required to present up to the Apparel leadership team on roadmap decisions, assessment of pain points and opportunities, and weigh the tradeoffs between priorities.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, execution and audit of the apparel .com site's product and marketing initiatives. This involves overseeing the Peloton Apparel site landscape, monitoring changes made within the digital shopping experience, troubleshooting issues and supporting the company's overall digital efforts across the website.
This person will have a rich knowledge of the Shopify landscape, superb analytic skills, digging deep into data to craft critical objectives, strategies and tactics, and turning insight into action to drive results. This candidate will be a collaborative leader who knows how to lead through others and provide insights that drive new ecommerce ideas for the Apparel business.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$136,300-$177,300 USD

- Be the Shopify System Owner and Developer
- Own the solution quality (QA) and continuity of the site
- Handle upgrades and enhancements
- Collaborate with key business and technology partners to define and implement process improvements that will save manual work, reduce quality issues, and enhance the customer experience.
- This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, execution, and audit of the Ecommerce product. This involves overseeing the Peloton product catalog, monitoring changes made within the digital shopping experience, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the company's overall digital efforts across the website.
- Collaborate with key business and engineering partners to define and implement process improvements that will save manual work, reduce quality issues, and enhance the customer experience
- Oversee partner relationships with ecommerce vendors, i.e. Narvar
- Work with Management and Ecommerce software teams to conduct ongoing 360-degree audits of the customer journey, ensuring real-time feedback with consumers as well as improving every touch point from website through purchase through fulfillment is best in class.
- Advise on building tools and tracking implementation to measure the performance of the site and guide actions via A/B tests, new features, and SEO efforts
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Experience working on consumer-facing products, DTC e-commerce and apparel experience is a must.
- Shopify Plus experience required.
- Expert in Shopify Liquid template language.
- Expert in Shopify APIs and their usage.
- REST API working knowledge.
- Experience architecting, building, and deploying Shopify Custom Apps and Checkout/Account Extensions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter and proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Able to act autonomously, anticipate and highlight program and product issues to the team before they happen
- Some knowledge of basic HTML/JSON/Python is a plus
