Description:

Minimum of seven (7) years experience interacting with customers, deploying on collection missions, performing technical analysis, and preparing technical analytic reports. Collect, develop, evaluate, and document recordings of new or previously unexploited signal data. Writes and publishes technical signals and payload analysis reports. Diagnoses and processes bit and packet level payloads, both standard and non-standard. Working knowledge of standard multiplexing schemes (CEPTs, STM-1s, etc), packet framing formats (HDLC, GFP, etc.), telecommunication payloads (Abis, Iub, 2G, 3G, etc.), inverse multiplexing schemes (VCAT GFP), and data link layer through application layer protocols. Three years experience using bit-level analysis tools such as DVT or XBIT. Three years experience using packet-level analysis tools such as pktswing or wireshark. Familiarity with programming in C is desired. Three years experience working on Linux platforms. Familiarity with programming in one or more of the following scripting languages is desired: Perl, sh, bash, csh, or Python.
