As the Manager of Patient Accounts, you'll lead a team of 18, driving continuous improvement through Lean principles to achieve monthly financial goals. Overseeing self-pay accounts receivable, you'll manage customer service, financial counseling, collections, and vendor relationships, ensuring optimal performance and patient satisfaction. This hybrid role offers flexibility with occasional travel, as you inspire innovation, solve problems, and support the revenue cycle's success.

- Full Time
- Revenue Cycle Leadership: Oversee self-pay accounts receivable, managing Customer Service, Financial Counseling, Self-Pay Collections, and Bad Debt Management to ensure smooth operations and optimal financial outcomes.
- Vendor Partnership: Collaborate closely with external vendors, ensuring performance meets best practice standards through metric tracking and regular communication with vendor leadership.
- Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Act as the go-to person for escalated patient issues, working across departments to resolve concerns in a way that satisfies both the patient and the organization.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily activities for financial counseling and credit balance teams, and handle invoice reviews for vendors supporting CBO operations.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - "What you will need":
- Education: Associate degree required with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
- License/Certifications: HFMA/AAHAM certification preferred as well.
- Experience: Ten years' related health care revenue cycle management experience preferably within a multi-organizational hospital system.
