Your Impact:
You will work in collaboration with internal partners across the three lines (SFA, ERM & IA) and externally with FHFA to manage critical divisional operational risk and issue management efforts. Primary responsibilities include driving all key aspects of the operational risk such as:
- Lead divisional risk assessments and reviews;
- Monitor operational risk/loss events including completion of the root cause analysis;
- Perform issue oversight including evaluating issue remediation activities such as action plans, review of deliverables and monitoring/tracking remediation status;
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of risk reports to management Ensure business process owners comply with operational risk management framework/programs;
- Foster a strong risk culture across the SFA organization through training and awareness programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 10+ years of overall experience and 2 years of management experience
- 6+ years of operational risk management and/or strong internal audit experience
- Prior risk management experience ideally in the financial services industry (preferably in mortgage finance)
-Relationship Management skills including influencing others, facilitating meetings, engaging partners, building relationship networks, and resolving conflict
-Relevant professional certifications (CPA, CIA, Six Sigma, etc.) are a plus!

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $149,000 - $223,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
