We are seeking a highly motivated Site Controller to oversee financial management at one of our business unit locations. As a Site Controller, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strong financial controls, analyze key financial metrics, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess operations and implement financial processes.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy in the ERP system, including projects, inventory, and work orders.
  • Collaborate with project, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability metrics.
  • Develop financial reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as headcount, scrap, and inventory.
  • Establish and implement strong internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing, capital planning, inventory, tax, audit, and ERP initiatives.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis for process improvements and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA/CMA preferred (or in progress).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing controllership/accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in revenue recognition methods, including percentage of completion.
    • Strong knowledge of standard costing methodology.
    • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (AX Dynamics a plus) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Key Competencies:

Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a shop/plant environment, may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.

Expected Hours of Work: This position regularly requires 8-12 hour work days and frequent weekend work.

Direct Reports: This position has direct reports.

Travel: This position requires frequent local travel and occasional overnight travel up to 10%.
