Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking a Site Manager 3 to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at the Bacchus Facility in Magna, Utah.

This position has senior leadership responsibility of the Ingredients, Binder, Machining and Subscale Mix/Cast areas. This position is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, employee development and cost objectives are met.

Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has senior leadership responsibility of the Ingredients, Binder, Machining and Subscale Mix/Cast areas. This position is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, employee development and cost objectives are met.
The successful candidate will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations activities which are accomplished through subordinates (Managers, OTS, and Operators).
- Work with VSET leads, Engineering, Production Control, Quality and other internal and external contacts to resolve issues real-time.
- Direct development and implementation of PES objectives within the areas to improve safety, reduce costs and assure product quality.
- Ensures strong and open relationships with senior leadership, employees, support groups and customers.
- Maintain a high level of equipment uptimes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience in manufacturing, or
- Master's Degree and 6 years' experience in manufacturing
- Candidate must have at least 6 years managing in a manufacturing or related environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal/leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to work with and satisfy internal and external customers and suppliers was well as a demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate initiatives plans and expectations. Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Pilgrim.
- Candidate should have a demonstrated commitment Northrop Grumman business Code of Ethics, the ability to lead others, build teams, develop employees and create an environment of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of budgets, cost management, and staffing demand.
- Candidate should have energetic manufacturing experience including knowledge of supporting systems to include AHOPS, DOD4145.26M, MM&IR, OPCB, BOMIS, Applicable Safety and QA procedures.
- Demonstrated skill and initiative in resolving personnel conflicts and personnel performance problems/issues.
- Demonstrated experience managing a diverse work force including exempt, non-exempt, and Union represented hourly personnel.
- Experience with a Represent Work Force (Union) and the limitations and requirements related to USW contract.
- Experience in quality systems and quality management (AS9100/ISO9001)
- Demonstrated a strong safety and working culture, with All Hands Meetings and consistent floor presence.
