What You will Do
The Program Manager coordinates all aspects of manufacturing facility for custom rechargeable batteries, chargers, and power supplies. This role includes managing a cross-functional team within the organization to meet the customers' needs and is responsible for overseeing delivery, cost, and quality for new product introduction. The program manager will coordinate with the development team and customers on changes and impact. The Program Manager is also the key customer point of contact upon kickoff and requires the ability to present and communicate effectively externally, and internally, at an executive level.

Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned)
- Oversee all site level NPI activities across the phase gate process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless launch of products (including operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and development)
- Support in the development and continuous improvement of the NPI process
- Act as the primary interface between the development teams and customer for site activities.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, action registers, escalation logs and resource loading.
- Resolve critical issues affecting project timelines throughout the NPI process through cross-functional problem solving or escalation management.
- Support and manage site NPI metrics.
- Actively program manages customer accounts at the site level.
- Support and manage the established site KPI metrics.
What You Will Need
- College Degree
- 4-8+ years of relevant experience
- PMP is a plus.
- Strong leadership ability.
- Successful experience leading and developing cross-functional teams and organizational talent.
- Hands-on approach to work
- Experience in the automotive industry working with APQP is preferred.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively to senior management, customers, and associates.
- Ability to maintain excellent communication skills during interaction with all levels of operations and management.
- Ability to be Customer Facing Required.
