Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and dedicated Mid-Rise/High-Rise Site Superintendent to oversee and manage the construction of multi-story buildings from start to finish. You should have proven expertise in high-rise or mid-rise concrete multi-family construction projects and a thorough understanding of building codes, safety standards, and construction processes. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and various stakeholders to ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

- Pay Rate: $165K - $180K / year (based on experience)
- Location: Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage on-site workforce, equipment, materials, and trade contractors to meet project specifications and plans.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Trade Contractors, Consultants, Inspectors, and Regulatory Agencies to develop and execute project plans, ensuring quality work is completed right the first time.
- Work alongside Project Managers to create schedules and construction sequencing.
- Meet project schedule milestones by planning ahead, identifying weekly deliverables for staff and contractors, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily site reports (tracking rentals, trade manpower, site conditions, and issues), progress photos, site as-built drawings, timesheets, and purchase orders.
- Support bid clarifications with trade contractors, ensuring scope of work, costs, and schedules are clearly defined.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures on-site, adhering to legislative and company standards to protect workers and the public.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with clients, sub-trades, project consultants, City Inspectors/Safety Code Officers, and colleagues, building trust and respect.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education as a minimum.
- Trades or Journeyman certification is a definite asset.
- Engineering degree is an asset.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing mid-rise to high-rise concrete multi-family construction projects from start to finish is essential.
- Strong understanding of Alberta building codes, safety codes, and workplace safety regulations.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including email, Word documents, and electronic document control software.
- Familiarity with structural, electrical, and mechanical systems and processes is an advantage.
- Experience in purchasing and managing project budgets is considered a valuable asset.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively, demonstrating respect and proactive communication skills
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
