- Assess, plan, evaluate, and treat patients to reduce or eliminate communication and swallowing disorders.
- Document patient progress and communicate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education for the transition to home or ongoing care facilities.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records according to legal and professional standards.
- Stay current with speech-language pathology practices and treatments through professional development.
