SME Bug Triage Escalation Support

Mandatory Skills: Android Triage, Android Application developer, Hardware testing
Job Description:
Hours: 10am - 7pm PST
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary triage escalation PoC for the Triage and Test teams
Provide central POC for internal and cross functional ad hoc requests of the Triage team, providing for additional research or investigation into triaged bugs
Evaluate reported issues, understand the user's intent and the contributing factors of the issue
Review triage data, logs and bugs and feedback to identify and escalate risks to the Fuchsia team. Report findings accordingly.
Audit triaged bugs and data to report on accuracy and completeness of process/policy implementation
Become a subject matter expert for specific Fuchsia products and features
Update and create new documentation as needed
Provide ongoing trainings for knowledge sharing and upcoming features
Required Qualifications:
Able to navigate through technical tools and error logs comfortably
Experienced with navigating/editing scripts and basic code base
Curious mindset around quality and exploratory testing ("What would happen if I clicked here?")
Proactive, agile, and able to multitask and reprioritize quickly
Enthusiastic problem solver, comfortable with making educated guesses and working with ambiguity
Outcome oriented with detail-driven focus, able to adjust on the fly to achieve goals
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in testing software and/or hardware, with an interest in operating systems or IoT devices
Professional or personal experience with technology, preferably in Engineering or QA world
Effective at troubleshooting, has curiosity and likes to dive deep to explore troubleshooting
Experience working with a certain amount of chaos and ambiguity

Experienced in writing documentation for wide audiences of various technical levels
Experience working with bugs
