Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to join our engineering team, focusing on developing scalable and efficient data solutions.

This role involves working in a multi-functional agile scrum team to design and develop large-scale data platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, Python, and AWS cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data solutions using Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL.
  • Design and implement scalable ETL processes, data lakes, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Utilize AWS services, including Docker and EKS, for cloud-based deployments.
  • Write efficient Python scripts for automation, data processing, and integration.
  • Work within an agile scrum development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Docker, and Artifactory.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to detect failures or performance degradation.
  • Contribute to the design, security, and optimization of large data platforms.
  • Engage in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of database solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with business and technology teams to define requirements and present technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously improve development methodologies.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of design and development experience in data engineering.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and automation.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies, including Docker and EKS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Artifactory.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Expertise in data security and governance best practices.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics frameworks.
