Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health safety assessments for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with attending psychiatrists to determine whether hospitalization or home care is appropriate.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with diverse student populations.
- Rotate between schools on a preassigned schedule, providing consistent, high-quality care.
- Document and communicate effectively with school staff and mental health teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree in Social Work (required).
- Licensure: Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) certification (required).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Cultural competence to relate to diverse student populations.
