JOB SUMMARY: The Software Developer plays a significant role in our software development team, responsible for developing a vast array of enterprise solutions. This role involves collaborating with users and domain experts to gather requirements and working with peers to resolve business needs using tools like .NET, Blazor, React, SQL, and Visual Basic. The Software Developer I also monitors the on-time delivery of active work items, determines testing requirements, utilizes pipelines, and assists in mitigating security risks. In addition to technical responsibilities, this role champions peer-to-peer learning, sharing expertise through code reviews, and collaborative growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
Proactively manage personal workload timelines and deliverables
Maintain clear and consistent communication with users and domain experts to refine scope and requirements
Develop known solutions; assist in developing new solutions
Assist to establish and implement testing practices on a per-project basis
Utilize delivery and feedback pipelines while providing feedback/suggestions
Participate in current architecture policies while providing feedback/suggestions
Follow internal security policies and actively mitigate potential risks
Assist in code quality assurance and cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing
Take an interest in current development best practices
Work with peers to implement solutions, share knowledge, and continuously improve
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
2 years of related work experience is required; 4 years of related work experience is preferred
Understanding of computer programming fundamentals and concepts
Understanding of relational database concepts
Strong internet research and problem-solving skills
Customer service skills
Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
$65,000 - $109,000 annually
