Expert in Unix system administration:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Solaris
- Storage administration (ZFS, LVM, Veritas)
- Needs at least 5-10 years exp
- NO HIGHSCHOOL. Needs a BA or BS at minimum
- Ability to create original script/programs for system administration in at least one of these languages: Bourne shell, Perl, Python, Java
- Experience with Ansible, especially supporting build automation and patch automation for RHEL and OEL
- Experience with Red Hat PCS clustering
- Participate in on call rotation
Preferred:
- Experience leading peers during technical implementation efforts and problem resolution
- Aspirations to manage a technical team
- Experience with OS clustering - at least one of:
- Veritas Infoscale
- Oracle Clusterware
- Red Hat PCS
- Experience with provisioning and supporting Linux systems in Microsoft Azure and/or Oracle Cloud
- Experience with Oracle Exadata
