Ordering Service Group is a collection of services that facilitate commerce. Commerce is the negotiation of agreeable terms and conditions of sale between an entity and a customer, the balanced exchange of goods or services for consideration, and the contract as the catalyst for execution until swift and complete fulfillment of exchange. Ordering is involved in nearly every detail of your Amazon.com order from the time you click "Add to Cart", to the time you get the "Your Amazon.com order has shipped" email, to the moment you get a refund after a processed return.
Component Reversal Workflow (CROW) team within Ordering Service Group owns refund platform that seamlessly enables Amazon Shoppers & Sellers in their managing returns and refunds worldwide. CROW platform team owns the refund platform charter and the mission is to provide internal Amazon clients with refunds eligibility authoritatively, to administer refunds creation accurately, to orchestrate refund execution for various business needs worldwide and to ensure accounting completeness.
SDEs at Amazon work on real world problems on a global scale, own their systems end to end and influence the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions customers around the world. At Amazon an SDE can expect to design flexible and scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing by utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object oriented programming. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
